Unstable pelvic fractures remain a major contributor to pre-hospital and in-hospital deaths due to intrapelvic haemorrhaging. By reducing the space (through compression) of the intra-pelvic area following blunt abdominal or pelvic trauma and stabilising the pelvis, there is reduced space available for intra-pelvic haemorrhaging to take place (tamponade effect).

The PelviGrip is a unique, reusable, pelvic sling manufactured from high quality neoprene, that promotes easy and rapid application, to help stabilise pelvic fractures in both the pre-hospital and primary healthcare settings. This is achieved by means of 3 tensioning straps, that are pulled through a loop and then fastened by means of a hook and loop securing system. The result is maximum and effortless compression of the inferior abdomen and pelvic ring.
